Booking your obstetric care

We’re happy to see you booking your maternity care at any stage in your pregnancy. Typically we see women in the first trimester of pregnancy, but it’s not rare to come and see us later, even quite near the birth.

Reasons for booking later include:

  • Relocation
  • Wish to change from public care
  • Wish for an obstetrician opinion if a doctor hasn’t been seen in pregnancy
  • Second medical opinion
  • Wish to explore the possibility of pregnancy options not available elsewhere eg. VBAC

Pre-conception care

If you have pre-existing medical problems, we’ll be very happy to see you prior to your pregnancy so that we can optimise your health and chances of fertility.

Our office is situated opposite Glengarry Private Hospital in Perth. We provide easy free parking. Clinical questions
Clinical questions can’t safely and legally be answered by email – we generally need to see you. So phone us during office hours for an appointment. If you have already been a patient at Glengarry Hospital eg. you’ve had surgery, you can call the hospital if it’s related, or an emergency. Often times, advice can be given with a soon follow up appointment in the rooms.

Non-clinical queries
It’s usually best to give us a call as there usually several things to cover. Speak to Michelle, our practice manager, or Elaine or Allison, our practice receptionists.
